Carole King For British Summer Time
The legendary singer songwriter, Carole King, is due to perform the classic Tapestry album at the Hyde Park event this Summer.
Carole King will be at the festival on Sunday 3rd July along with her daughter Louise Goffin and ex Eagle man Don Henley.
Her massive selling Tapestry album came out in 1971 and was the singers second full length release. Scooping the best album award at the 1972 Grammy Awards the album has been a staple on ‘best albums ever’ lists for years.
The recent transfer from Broadway to the West end of ‘Beautiful’ a musical based on King has been another hit, with Carole advocating the fans visiting the show being pivotal with it’s success here.
The crowd can expect the huge tracks ‘I Feel The Earth Move’, ‘It’s Too Late’ and ‘You’ve Got Friend’ in full as well as many other classic tracks.
