Mumford and Sons have been announced as another headline act for the 2016 Barclaycard British Summer Time Festival.
Mumford and Sons come to the London park on the Friday 8th July 2016. They’ll be joined initially by Alabama Shakes and Wolf Alice with more names to be announced.
Mumford and Sons released their third long player, ‘Wilder Mind’ in 2015 and saw them turn up the amps and bring a more robust sound to their folk driven tunes. It follows the massive success of their albums ‘Sigh No More’ and ‘Babel’. No strangers to big crowds, the band have topped Glastonbury and Reading Festivals, as well as their own global Gentlemen Of The Road tours (including a big show at the Olympic Park in 2013).
